Ancient rural churches are the focus for our day’s exploring as we cycle through the heart of rural Anglesey on this leisurely guided bike tour.

Starting from what was once our largest market town, we seek out some of the island’s tiniest rural churches, down leafy lanes and byways off the beaten track.

Can you spot the devil’s face in the church wall? Discover why an ancient King of Britain took refuge on Anglesey, how the first convert to Islam in the House of Lords supported our rural churches, then dive into the 18th century through the eyes of a diarist.

This magical island, home of the druids, is steeped in spirituality, history and archaeology and a day’s tour in the expert hands of Green Lane Bike Tours is an experience not to be missed.

Magnificent seascapes, beautiful sacred spaces, hedgerow wildflowers and Snowdonia for a backdrop. This sets the scene for an unforgettable day out on your bike!

A proper Welsh lunch is included.

This tour is commissioned by Experience Welsh Churches .

The proposed 2023 dates here are still subject to agreement by the Churches to be visited.
